These one-hour informal discussions are an excellent way to meet with other guides, discuss various issues and topics of interest to our profession, and share information, tea and sympathy with each other!   Experienced guides can offer new guides advice on questions they may have and we can all contribute to each other's skills and knowledge.

We will meet at the Cafeteria in the Madison Building of the Library of Congress on Wednesday, October 18 at 10:00.  This month's topic will focus on preparing for the Job Fair coming up on the 23rd.  Even "old hands" can learn how to better prepare for interviewing with tour companies at this important event.  We will broaden the discussion to include how to find tour jobs in general.

These events are great fun.  No reservations necessary and no fee.   Come if you can.   (Guild Guides and CMG Candidates earn 1 participation point for attendance).

If you have questions, feel free to contact Tammy Belden (tamarabelden@gmail.com).
