"Please come WITH A GUEST to hear Mr. John Richardson share stories and pictures from his extensive research on a legendary figure of Washington DC, Alexander "The Boss" Robey Shepherd. From his birth in Washington City to his death in Batopilas Mexico, Richardson will give us an in depth view of Shepherd's successes and failures and his dogged determination to turn our Nation's Capital into a splendid city. The event is FREE and members may bring a guest! The room in which we will meet is on the second floor of the Tenley-Friendship Library with elevator access. Metro stop: Tenleytown-AU red line directly across the street from the library.
