What Is A Friend Of The Guild? A Friend is a company, organization or individual that: Directly offers services to the tourism industry or enhances the cultural and/or historical significance of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area as a tour destination, including museums, attractions, lodgings, restaurants, associations, and government agencies. Wishes to support the efforts of the Guild to improve the knowledge, skill and work of tour guides. Current list of Friends

In return for a modest annual contribution ($l50 for-profit/$l00 not-for-profit), a Friend
receives:

• A listing (with hyperlink) to your company on the Guild’s web site
• A listing in the Guild Membership Directory
• One copy of the Guild Membership Directory
• A subscription to The Capital Guide, the Guild’s monthly newsletter
• An advertisement in one issue of The Capital Guide
• One set of membership mailing labels (upon request)
• The opportunity to participate in our biennial trade show, Showcase
• Affiliation with international and national tour guide associations
