Please join us on Tuesday, January 9, 2017 for the Guild's Big Day!  The Annual Business Meeting, Awards Ceremony, and Education Seminar.  The Book Sale will take place during Registration/Networking and before the beginning of the Education Seminar. We are still working out all the details, but so far our plans include:

Highlights of 2017 and Plans for 2018: The Board Officers and Committees will discuss the Guild's accomplishments in 2017 and explain plans for the Guild in 2018.

Celebrate Your Colleagues' Achievements:  The Awards Committee will announce the winners of: (1) the Jill Blakeman Award (awarded to the Guild Guide whose work best exemplifies the spirit of the Guild, and who has made an original and significant contribution to the Guild); (2) Tourism Industry Contribution Award (awarded to a person or organization who has provided valuable and distinguished service to the Guild, guiding profession, or tourism in the DC area); (3) the Motor Coach Operator Award (awarded to a motor coach operator who has best contributed to the team spirit of guiding); and (4) the Ginny Moser Award (awarded to a new Guild Guide who accumulated the highest number of participation points (continuing education units) during the first 12 months of Guild membership).
