Discover the art and architecture that made the Stewart Lee Udall Department of the Interior Building a "symbol of a new day" during the Great Depression. The walking tour lasts approximately one hour and focuses on the history of the building and the Department via a selection of more than 40 New Deal-era painted murals, plus photographic murals by Ansel Adams.

Tour will depart from the C Street lobby just inside the entrance at 1849 C Street, N.W.  We ask you to arrive by 9:45 to allow time for screening. Please bring a valid photo ID as you will be required to sign in and proceed through security/bag screening.

Should you wish to grab lunch in the building after the tour, lunch is served in the Bison Bistro (public cafeteria) in the basement level of the building from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
