The Board of Directors invites all Guild members who joined in 2018 to our Annual New Member Reception which provides an opportunity for new members and the Board to get to know one another and an opportunity for new members to learn more about the Guild.

Dear New Guild Guides,

Thank you for joining the Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, DC in 2018.  As part of our welcoming tradition, the President of the Guild hosts a New Members' Reception each year.  Invited Guild members are those who joined the Guild in 2018 along with Board members.

I hope you will be able to join us on Saturday, January 12, 2019, from 11:00 - 1:00 at my residence, 1300 Crystal Drive, Arlington,  VA.  Food and refreshments will be served. I live in the Crystal City area of Arlington, just a couple blocks from the Crystal City Metro Station.  There is also street parking on Crystal Drive in front of my condominium building.  The event will be held in the Reception Room on the lobby level. 

The reception is an opportunity for the Board to welcome you as a Guild member and for all of us to get to know each other. It is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions of the Board that may help you better understand the business operations of the Guild. The Board also learns how we can better help you in your tour guiding career and you learn how you can take advantage of all the Guild has to offer.  One CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is earned for those who attend.
