    • Carrie Christoffersen, Executive Director of the Newseum will give a short update
    • Ann-Louise Colgan will accept the Industry Tourism Award that she was unable to accept in January due to the government shutdown and will speak about The U.S. Institute of Peace and Its Public Education, including The Peace Trail
    • Paul Olllig, Chief of Interpretation & Education for the NPS National Mall and Memorial Parks Unit, will give his always excellent presentation on National Mall Highlights & Updates

  • Getting To The Newseum

    The Newseum is located at 555 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001. PLEASE NOTE: Enter the Newseum from the Group Entrance on C St, around the corner from 6th St. The use of public transportation is recommended. The nearest metro stops are Judiciary Square on the red line (.3 mile walk from 4th & D exit) and Archives/Navy Mem'l/Penn Quarter on the green/yellow lines (.2 mile walk). For bus route information please visit www.wmata.com. Note that the F St exit from Judiciary Square metro is closed for escalator replacement. The best route to the Newseum from the Judiciary Square station is to exit at 4th St in the direction of the Courts, turn right onto Indiana Ave, turn left to walk down the stairs of John Marshall Park and turn right on C St behind the Canadian Embassy to the Newseum Group Entrance.

    Limited metered parking is available in the neighborhood and on Madison Dr and Jefferson Dr on the National Mall.
  • Refreshments
    The Newseum is offering complimentary pastries, juice and coffee in their cafe starting at 8:30 until approximately 9:30 at which point networking will continue until meeting Call to Order at 10:00 a.m.
