Briefing with museum staff about upcoming changes to exhibitions and programs at the National Museum of
American History. Staff will discuss amenities and services and answer questions. Rescheduled from Jan. 25
due to government shutdown.

OPTIONAL pre-briefing activity at 12:30 - Attend the Join the Student Sit-Ins theater program in Unity
Square, 2 West. The 30 minute interactive play transports visitors to a nonviolent protest training session a
few weeks after the original sit-in that occurred at the F. W Woolworth store in Greensboro, North Carolina on
February 1, 1960.

Where: Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Meet in SC Johnson Conference Center in 1
West at 1 PM.
Limit: 36

At the end of the performance, American History staff will gather the group and escort them to the SC Johnson
Conference Center, 1 West.
