The International Spy Museum (SPY) is the only public museum in the world to provide a global perspective on the vital role intelligence has played throughout world history and continues to play today. SPY features the largest collection of international espionage artifacts ever placed on public display and has drawn more than 9 million visitors internationally since its opening.  Situated two blocks from the National Mall and The Wharf, the newly-reopened facility features completely-reimagined exhibits and never before seen artifacts. Visitors are invited to step into the shoes of a spy and test their spy skills through state-of-the-art interactives and immersive RFID technology.

For Guild tour guides who are actively guiding, the International Spy Museum is providing four 30-minute sneak-peek tours into some of the doorways of the general exhibition areas and is updating members on the current operational systems and procedures for group visitation.

The Museum is in the midst of installation and fabrication, and as such full tours through the floors and exhibits are not available.  Sneak-peek areas and doorway viewings are subject to change on each date as the Museum is following strict policies and scheduling of the design and fabrication crews. Due to  date and time restrictions, advance registration must be made for each tour with a maximum attendance of 10 visitors in each.

All visitors are asked to arrive no earlier than 9:20 a.m. with tours commencing at 9:30 a.m., ending at 10:00 a.m. All visitors are to arrive using the covered plaza entrance at 700 L’Enfant Plaza SW Washington, DC and check-in with Security upon arrival, providing identification if directed. All visitors are to wear hard-soled shoes and long pants for safety concerns. Photography of the Museum and it’s exhibits is strictly prohibited.

This event is being offered Thursday, March 14, Wednesday, March 20, Wednesday, March 27, and Tuesday, April 2.
