Prohibition in DC with Garrett Peck: Rum Row, the Anti-Saloon League, and the Politics of Alcohol

Commemorate the passage of the 18th Amendment in 1919 with your Guild friends on a walking tour exploring Prohibition-related sights unknown to most Washingtonians. Guide Garrett Peck's tour research in Penn Quarter led to his book - "Prohibition in Washington, DC: How Dry We Weren't." Afterwards we'll cool off at a nearby watering hole and toast the end of Prohibition in DC in 1934.
