February Member Meeting Highlights
Speakers from the NPG/SAAM will describe what is available in the museums, and review procedures for visiting the building with groups. A representative from the Embassy of Serbia will speak about the country's hosting of the 2021 Convention of the World Federation of Tourist Guides Association (WFTGA). Reagan Sales Staff will explain the changes to their Food Court Voucher Progam, Liane Jacobs, Visitors' Services Liaison for the National Museum of African American History and Culture will give an update on exhibits at the museum and recap procedures for group visits during the busy season, and last but not least, Lori Scott and the International Spy Museum will receive the Guild's Industry Contribution Award.
Note Well: Attendees who do not register for the meeting in advance WILL NOT earn CEU credits.
Since the building doesn't open to the public until 11:30 all attendees MUST use the National Portrait Gallery entrance at G St & 8th St. Attendees who register prior to Noon on February 10th will be on the security list to enter the WARM building lobby prior to 9:30. Attendees who are not on the list will be admitted before 9:30 only at the discretion of the museum Security Staff.
NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM SO DRINK YOUR MORNING COFFEE BEFORE ARRIVING.

The museum is located on G St at 8th St NW, Washington, DC 20001. The use of public transportation is recommended. The nearest metro stops are Gallery Place-Chinatown (use the 9th & G St exit) on red/yellow/green lines and Metro Center (use the 11th & G exit) on blue/orange/silver lines. Metered neighborhood parking is available beginning at 9:30 a.m. and pay parking lots are nearby.
