Join us for our first online version of the Guild's Book Group for a discussion of: A Fool's Errand: Creating the National Museum of African American History and Culture in the Age of Bush, Obama, and Trump by Lonnie G. Bunch III. If you wish to participate, simply register for the event here.
PLEASE NOTE: You may join the videoconference on a tablet, computer, or smartphone. However, smartphones are not recommended due to smaller screen sizes. The Guild is using GoToMeeting for our videoconference Education, Training, Book Group, and other online meetings and events. This software is FREE to meeting participants so please ignore all vendor references to "start for free" or "free trials". Meeting participants do not need to register for GoToMeeting accounts nor purchase any "package" from them. Please make sure you do not PAY for anything related to GoToMeeting.
Please CAREFULLY read the information you will receive in your registration confirmation email for further instructions on how to prepare for GoToMeeting in advance of the meeting. Approximately 1 hour prior to the meeting you will receive an email with a link to join the videoconference. If you decide at that time not to participate, simply ignore the email. If you find you do not want to participate prior to the meeting date please follow the instructions on how to cancel your registration in the registration confirmation email.
In order to ensure that the meeting organizer has all email addresses required for the videoconference invitations, registration for this event will close at midnight the day before the meeting.
All attendees registered by the deadline will earn 1 Continuing Education Credit
The Book Group's next selection is:
A Perfect Union: Dolly Madison and the Creation of the American Nation
by Catherine Allgor.
The date will be announced shortly.
