Say thanks to our military veterans by volunteering on October 7th to wash the Korean War Veterans Memorial Wall. With your help, The Guild Gives Back will once again make this special monument sparkle and shine.

This is the Guild’s second year washing the wall. On Oct 7, Guild members will gather as the sun rises over the 19 larger than life stainless-steel statues. Like last year, Guild participants can experience great fun in helping conserve the monument, work with National Park Service staff, and share a special moment with other Guild members. The National Park Service provides the cleaning supplies, the Guild provides the elbow grease. Our objective is to clean the wall within an hour, therefore we like 20-30 volunteers. Please register on the Guild’s website so we know how many volunteers we’ll have on Oct 7th.

Meet: At the Korean War Memorial. Wall (Parking is available on Ohio Drive).

Date/Time: 6:30am on Oct 7h.  The washing takes approximately 1 hour.

Attire: NO flip-flops. NPS request that no one wear flip-flops due to potential injury. Shorts and t-shirts okay.
